In 2018, three seasoned industry professionals - Rick Morrone, Glenn Tulloch, and Scott Smith – partnered with the Varney Agency to form Varney & Company Benefits Advisors (VBA). The addition of a health and life service line complemented the robust business and personal lines the Varney Agency had been providing for more than 30 years. Additionally, the similarities in client service philosophy shared among the principals created a synergistic partnership.

The Varney Agency has 23 locations and employs more than 100 people across Maine and in Florida. Since its formation, the VBA team has grown to include multiple account managers, an operations supervisor, and an account executive, in addition to a strong administrative and support team.
